To whom it may concern,

I, Kalyn Shelton, wish to return my body as well as my mind because of chronic fatigue, nausea, pain, anxiety, depression, and more. I received this item a little over 30 years ago and began experiencing severe issues in July 2020.

Please be advised that I’ve had my mind and body examined multiple times and have been diagnosed with acute intermittent porphyria (AIP). According to my doctors, AIP is incurable and causes chronic symptoms; therefore, I would like a full refund and do not wish to order another mind and body. Porphyria bombards my life with fear, and I no longer wish to proceed with this item.

I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Kalyn Shelton

Dear Mrs. Shelton,

Please be advised that we have received your request to return an item. Unfortunately, your request has been denied at this time, as minds and bodies are nonrefundable. I do wish to offer my condolences along with some suggestions that may help you in dealing with your AIP.

First, I recommend avoiding triggers such as alcohol, physical and mental stress, smoking, fasting, and unsafe medications. Keep in mind that hormones are known to worsen symptoms as well and cannot always be avoided.

Second, I would like you to take a proton pump inhibitor, pain and nausea medications as needed, a muscle relaxer, and medication for anxiety and depression. Please keep in mind that this process will be trial and error and won’t be easy. We can try several medications, but some may not work as well as others, and we won’t know until we try them. When symptoms worsen, hospitalizations may be required for heme and dextrose treatments.

Last, but certainly not least, I need you to not give up. You will face challenges that most people can’t imagine. You’ll be in pain every day of your life. While this pain typically will occur on the right side of your stomach, your entire body will also be sore and weak. You’ll continue to be nauseous, and it won’t go away without the use of medical cannabis. You may have days when you can’t eat or drink water without throwing up. You’ll need a hysterectomy and won’t be able to have kids of your own, but you cannot give up.

Believe it or not, you are a blessed porphyria warrior.

With love,

God

God,

At first, I didn’t think I could do this. But with your recommendations, I’m doing OK. I must say you were right about everything you said. Spot on, to be exact. With your grace and with you by my side, I can make it through as a blessed porphyria warrior!

Thank you,

Kalyn Shelton
